Targeting your Campaigns

With BeamAds you can target potential leads very effectively. You can target by specific websites, locations and by keyword matching. You can choose how you want to target and our system will find the most relevant Beams for you to advertise on.

URL targeting

You may have a particular site in mind for your BeamAds, if so you can either contact the site owner and agree a price or if they allow you can bid for space on their Beams. You can either advertise on the entire site or Beam publishers may have specific tags for you to purchase or bid on. Tags are applied to Beams so that they can be grouped into relevant categories for more targeted advertising and effective reporting.

Geographical targeting

If you have no particular site in mind and just want to take advantage of advertising on Beams you can also target geographically. As a user triggers a message it tells us where that user is and we then serve them your advert based on that location. You can target users by Country, State or Region and City.

Keyword targeting (coming soon)

If you want to get even more targeted you can select keywords that are relevant to your product or service, our system then searches text in the Beam message, the website URL and the website itself. It looks for relevant Beams and websites and automatically sends your advert with the most relevant Beams.

Choosing a targeting method

The trade-off with targeting is coverage, the more targeted your campaign the less deliveries you will get however those deliveries will more likely result in an action from the consumer. When choosing a targeting method you need to decide what the primary reason of your campaign is. If you are looking to make direct sales or drive traffic to a store then a more targeted approach will get you the results you need. If you are more interested in increasing awareness of your brand then broader coverage would be right for you.
